UNIVERSAL PRESCHOOL APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Applications are now open for the State of Colorado’s Universal Preschool (UPK) program. Starting with the 2023-24 school year, all families will be eligible for free preschool at our sites.
Enrolling for UPK is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Apply through the UPK Portal.
- Accept your school match through UPK.
- Complete enrollment through our district.*
*We will send out a communication with detailed instructions.
A few items to note about our district’s preschool program:
- Children must be age 3 or 4 by October 1.
- We will have a limited number of spots available.
- Participants will be limited to approximately 10 program hours per week.
- We offer morning or afternoon sessions that meet four days each week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
Current Preschool Families
The UPK portal will give priority to continuity of care, and you should be “matched” with our program. Even though you are currently enrolled in our program, you will need to apply via the UPK portal for next year. It is critical that you register via theUPK portalby February 14 in order to maintain continued placement within our district.
